Easter At Grandma Wilson's House

Friday Night, April 2, we all met over at Wilson's for dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt!
We ate a yummy bbq dinner - lots of hamburgers, hotdogs, and chicken!  Salads, chips, strawberries!  Yummy!  (It was too cold to eat outside!  Snow in APRIL!  Crazy!)
After dinner, the little girls had their Easter Egg Hunt!

Running to get the eggs!
Where are the eggs?
Going through all of the loot!
Sarah loves baby Paityn!
Paityn is getting so big!  She is sitting up (almost) by herself!  She also loves playing with stacking cups!
So Cute!
Em loves her Uncle Eric!  He plays with her and she loves it!

No pics please!
We are so exciting!
Mark was asleep holding a cup by his face.  Mike and Mat started throwing eggs, trying to get them in the cup.  After a few eggs in the face, Mark realized what they were doing!  Then it became a contest, and soon turned into a full on egg fight!  Good times!

Easter Egg Hunt at Chugg's

On Wednesday night we had dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Chugg's house.  We hud yummy Navajo Tacos with my mom's yummy chilly!  Danny, Jen and the girls came over too!  We had a fun time!

After dinner, we had an Easter Egg Hunt!  We had to have it upstairs in the play room since it decided to SNOW!

We let Emma and Izzy go up first to find their eggs.  I color coded the huntthis year so it was a little more exciting!  This way they had to find their color of egg, instead of just finding whatever!  I think they had fun, and they started helping each other out!

(See the snow in the background?  Crazy!)

The big girls, Kat, Ellie, and Ryan searching for their treats!
The girls emptying their eggs and looking thru their loot!
Silly Izzy!  She is hard to get a pic of, cause she has a silly cheese face most of the time!
She is so cute!  She calls Em 'fwend' - so cute!
~
We had a good time visiting and playing with them!  I know the girls miss playing with their cousins, so I was glad they had a long time to play!

Easter Eggs!

I don't know if I am the only mother who loathes dying Easter Eggs.  It is messy, dyes everything it comes in contact with, and messy!
This year, I let the girls make foam eggs!  Still a little messy, but I didn't have to have constant worry that they were going to tip the dye over and stain everything!  They had a good time creating and making their creations!

Easter Pics!

The Easter Bunny visited on Saturday and left eggs around the house. The girls had fun finding the eggs and getting their baskets (buckets this year really). They have been on a chocolate high ever since!

Mat did an impromptu photo shoot before church while I was finishing getting ready. Sometimes, he can actually be of use!!! Kidding hun, I love you!!! (Now if he'd learn how to turn on the red eye button! heheheh! kidding again hun!!!)
Emma is looking at Kat's arm like 'What are you doing? Don't touch me!'

(forgive the red-eye! I didn't put it thru photo shop yet!)
Priceless!!!

P.S. Sometimes, like Sunday mornings, I really wish I had boys instead!
