Easter Pics!

The Easter Bunny visited on Saturday and left eggs around the house. The girls had fun finding the eggs and getting their baskets (buckets this year really). They have been on a chocolate high ever since!

Mat did an impromptu photo shoot before church while I was finishing getting ready. Sometimes, he can actually be of use!!! Kidding hun, I love you!!! (Now if he'd learn how to turn on the red eye button! heheheh! kidding again hun!!!)
Emma is looking at Kat's arm like 'What are you doing? Don't touch me!'

(forgive the red-eye! I didn't put it thru photo shop yet!)
Priceless!!!

P.S. Sometimes, like Sunday mornings, I really wish I had boys instead!

Happy Father's Day!

We are having a very low key Father's Day this year. So, I thought I would find a couple of fun quotes about what Mat means to me.

Happy Mom's Day!

Like always, I am a little late with this, but that is just how my life rolls! I have come to terms with my being late!

Anywho... Happy Mom's Day! For all of those of you who are not moms, I hope you told your own moms how much you love them on this oh-so-necessary day!
For our Mother's Day, we had a BBQ at my parents house on Saturday night. My Aunt Tami and Uncle Darin came with their boys, along with my grandparents. We had a nice night sitting outside and enjoying the warmth (It doesn't seem to want to be very warm here lately! Spring weather is very unpredictable in Utah!)

My Mom (and Sadie), Kathryn, My Grandma
Three Beautiful Ladies in my Life!

My Girls love hotdogs! Here they are chowin' down!

What's a summer BBQ without a Twinkie? Emma just basically sucked all of the cream out and mangled the rest!

There is a funny story to these pics! I asked Tami to take a pic of me and the girls, seeing how it was Mother's Day and all. Well, Em was all for it and jumped up on my lap. Kat had a fit and said she didn't want to take a pic with me. I pretended to be sad and then had Tami take the pics anyway. Well, Kat was off throwing her temper tantrum. Little did she know that she was almost directly behind us and Tami was able to get her in the pic after all! You might have to zoom in on the pic to really see her, but she is right between me and Emma! One of those pics I can hold over her head!

On Sunday, we went over to Mat's parent's house. Mark and Danielle made a yummy dutch oven dinner of BBQ Chicken and Cheesy Potatoes. It was very delectable! I unfortunately forgot my camera on Sunday! So no fun pic of the Wilson gang!

I ended up having a pretty good Mom's Day. I go plenty of homemade gifts and cards from my girls, and spent lots of time with the wonderful mom that brought me into this world. I also got to spend time with Mat's fam, which I adore. All in all, the only thing that was missing, a nap!

Easter

Happy Easter! Ok, Ok, I know it is a couple of weeks late for that, but this is the first chance I have had to update with our Easter Pics.

On Easter, we went over to both pairs of Grandparents' Houses. First we went to my parents, Gramma Chugg, and 'Papa' (as Emma calls him!) We had a light lunch and then an Easter Egg Hunt!

Emma only holds still for so long! I was luck to get this cute pic!

Kathryn with her cousin Ellie (Bambi's little girl). They are both getting so big! Ellie has grown like a foot in the past year I swear! Ok, so maybe not that much, but they are about the same height and Kat is almost a year older!

Ryan, Ellie, Kathryn, Emma
Ryan is Ellie's Sister. They are only a week apart - long story! If you don't know it, ask Mat or me! Anywho, here they are with their Easter Baskets! (Izzy is their Baby sis, she was still inside at the time.)

Silly Emma! I had to trick her into letting me take a pic!

My sweethearts! At least, when they want to be!

Papa helping Emma get an egg out of the tree!

So many treasures!

After the Chugg's house, we went over to Gramma and Grampa Wilson's house for lunch and another Easter Egg Hunt! Man, we got a lot of candy!

Cute Miss Emma posing for me!

Uncle Eric, Emma, Kat, and Sarah looking for eggs.

I think she wants to be a model someday! :)

We had a lot of fun on Easter, and we love that the famlies are all so close! We love our parents and their love for our girls!
Hope everyone else had a great Easter too!
